Who designed the Rainbow Pride Flag?
The original 8 colour Rainbow Flag was created by Gilbert Baker in 1978. A year later this was then simplified due to fabric shortages to the 6-colour flag we all know.

The colours of the Rainbow Pride Flag are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Each colour has a specific meaning. Red symbolises life, orange symbolises healing, yellow symbolises sunlight, green symbolises nature, blue symbolises harmony/peace and purple/violet symbolises spirit.
